ABOUT ABOUT

Live music returns to Central Machine Works with Walker Lukens & The Side Arms’ release of their reimagination of some of Willie Nelson’s biggest hits & deep cuts.

Outdoor socially distanced tables are now on sale! Instead of buying tickets, book a table & bring up to 8 friends to enjoy live music on our outdoor stage, presented by KUTX! Walker Lukens & The Side Arms will celebrate the release of "a reimagining of some of Willie Nelson’s biggest hits (& a few deep cuts too)." Kalu James, Stiletto Feels and Sydney Wright join the bill for an allstar local show.

For those who are more comfortable enjoying the entertainment from home, the entire event will stream live, online. For an optimal at-home-experience, be sure to pick up a 6-pack of CMW’s just-launched canned beer (Lager, Citrus Pale Ale, or Kolsch) and a signature pizza to-go.

Proceeds from the sales of Walker Lukens’ album will be donated to HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, and guests will be invited to donate online as well.

*We take our safety procedures seriously. We always ensure that there is 6 feet of distance between tables, and all guests not seated are required to wear masks. We always provide hand sanitizing stations at every table and entry point, and no standing room will be available during the event. Please be courteous of your neighbors - and enjoy the show!

Socially Distanced Outdoor Show following all CDC dining guidelines.

Tables seat up to 8 each.

'In my head I saw the sun rising on a gulf coast beach. Willie (circa 1978) and Drake (circa now) are passing a joint back and forth, still drunk from the night before. Willie asks Drake to name his Top 3 least favorite singers. Drake says that it's easy: Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett. Willie laughs and suggests they try to make a boozy beach record, but without any of the Buffett cheese. Drake says okay. So Drake and Willie drive down the celestial highway to Athens, Georgia circa 1998 and ask Robert Schneider (Apples in Stereo, Olivia Tremor Control, Neutral Milk Hotel) to record them. Drake gets a call from his manager. He actually can't do this any time soon. Willie smirks. Says his hangover is setting in. Willie gets back into Drake's 1988 Ferrari Testarossa and they head back west. As Willie is getting out of Drake Ferrari at Luck, he says to Drake "you know, I heard about this Austin guy, Walker Lukens, who's pretty obsessed with both of us. Maybe we should let him do this project." Drake bites into a passionfruit. Boom. Enter me. ' - Walker Lukens

All the proceeds from this record will go to H.A.A.M
